Accessibility Statement

Cabrillo Plumbing, Heating & Air is committed to making discovercabrillo.com usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. We treat accessibility as an ongoing effort and welcome your feedback.

Last reviewed: July 17, 2026

The short version

  • We want every visitor — with or without a disability — to be able to use our website and reach us.
  • We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA and to align with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
  • We build with semantic markup, image alt text, keyboard operability, sufficient color contrast, and visible focus states — and we keep improving.
  • If anything is hard to use, tell us — call (415) 843-2900 or contact us online and we’ll help and fix it.

1. Our commitment

Cabrillo Plumbing, Heating & Air believes the web should be available to and usable by everyone. We are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology, and to treating accessibility as a continuous, ongoing effort rather than a one-time project.

2. Conformance target

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, the widely recognized standard for digital accessibility, and to align with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.

3. What we do

Measures we take to support accessibility include, on an ongoing basis:

  • Using semantic HTML and landmark structure so assistive technologies can navigate the page.
  • Providing text alternatives (alt text) for informative images.
  • Ensuring the site is operable by keyboard, with a logical focus order and a visible focus indicator.
  • Maintaining sufficient color contrast (AA) for text and interactive elements.
  • Labeling form fields and providing clear error messages.
  • Reviewing new pages and components for accessibility as part of our build and design process.

4. Known limitations & third-party content

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Portions of the site rely on third-party tools and embedded content (for example, maps, financing widgets, chat, or review feeds) whose accessibility we do not fully control. Where we identify a barrier, we work to provide an accessible alternative or a direct way to reach us. If you encounter a barrier, please let us know so we can help and prioritize a fix.

5. Assistive technology & compatibility

The site is designed to be compatible with recent versions of major browsers and common assistive technologies, including screen readers and speech-recognition software. If you use assistive technology and have trouble with any part of the site, we want to hear about it.

6. Feedback & how to reach us

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of discovercabrillo.com. If you encounter a barrier, need information in an alternative format, or want to request assistance, please contact us — and if there’s anything we can do to help you reach our team or complete a request, we will:

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days, and to propose a solution as quickly as we reasonably can.

7. Date & ongoing review

We review this statement and our site’s accessibility periodically (at least annually) and after significant site changes, and we update our approach as standards and tools evolve. Last reviewed: July 17, 2026.
