These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Cabrillo Plumbing, Heating & Air (“Cabrillo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of discovercabrillo.com (the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. You represent that you are at least 18 years old and able to enter into this agreement. California residents can review and exercise their “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” rights in the Your California Privacy Rights section of the Privacy Policy.

The Site provides general information about our plumbing, heating, cooling, water-heater, and electrical services across San Francisco and the Peninsula, and lets you request service or a quote. Submitting a request does not create a service contract; a service relationship begins only when we agree on scope and you authorize the work, as described below.

Portions of the Site’s content, chat responses, cost explainers, or estimating tools may be generated or assisted by automated systems, including artificial intelligence. Any such output is illustrative and educational only. It may contain errors or omissions, is not tailored to your specific property, and is not professional, engineering, licensing, or code advice. Always confirm specifics with a licensed Cabrillo technician before acting.

Any pricing, ranges, estimates, or quotes presented on the Site — including from any online calculator or tool — are preliminary and non-binding. They do not account for the conditions of your specific home or system. A binding price exists only in a written estimate or agreement that we provide and that you sign or otherwise expressly authorize.

Site content is for general informational purposes and is not a substitute for a professional assessment. Do not rely on it to diagnose, repair, or make safety decisions about plumbing, gas, HVAC, or electrical systems. For anything involving gas, water, or electricity, contact a licensed professional.

All content on the Site — text, graphics, logos, images, and design — is owned by Cabrillo Plumbing, Heating & Air or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, scrape, or create derivative works from the Site without our prior written permission.

You agree not to misuse the Site. Among other things, you will not: violate any law; submit false or misleading information; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems; introduce malware; scrape or harvest data; interfere with the Site’s operation; or use the Site to harass others or infringe anyone’s rights.

If you submit information, photos, or messages through the Site, you confirm you have the right to share them and you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use them as needed to respond to your request and provide service. Do not submit confidential information or anything you don’t have the right to share. Please don’t submit sensitive personal information through web forms.

The Site may include links to, or integrations with, third-party services (for example, financing partners, scheduling tools, maps, or review platforms). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products, or practices, which are governed by their own terms and policies.

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that information on it is accurate, complete, or current. This disclaimer concerns the Site itself; any warranty on workmanship or equipment is set out separately in your written service agreement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cabrillo Plumbing, Heating & Air and its owners, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Site — even if advised of the possibility. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Cabrillo Plumbing, Heating & Air and its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to the arbitration provision below, you agree that the exclusive venue for any dispute that proceeds in court will be the state and federal courts located in the City and County of San Francisco, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights. Except for small-claims matters and requests for injunctive relief, you and Cabrillo agree to resolve any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site by binding individual arbitration, administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. The arbitration will take place in or near San Francisco, California, or by remote means.

Class-action waiver: disputes will be arbitrated only on an individual basis; you and Cabrillo waive any right to bring or participate in a class, collective, or representative action.

30-day opt-out: you may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to contact us online (subject line “Arbitration Opt-Out”) or to 78 Dorman Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94124 within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Opting out won’t affect any other part of these Terms.

Before starting arbitration, please contact us at contact us online or (415) 843-2900 and describe the dispute and the relief you’re seeking, so we can try to resolve it informally. Many concerns are resolved quickly this way.

Prices for services are set out in your written estimate or agreement and are payable as stated there. Any financing is offered through independent third-party lenders, subject to their approval and terms; Cabrillo is not the lender and does not make credit decisions. Promotional offers are subject to their stated conditions and cannot be combined unless expressly noted.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law, and arbitration) will survive.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will stay in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any written service agreement between us, are the entire agreement between you and Cabrillo Plumbing, Heating & Air regarding the Site and supersede any prior understandings on that subject.

We may update these Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date below shows when. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Questions?
