Between hyper-heating H2i cold-climate condensers, whisper-quiet single-zone splits for a converted attic, and eight-zone multi-splits for a whole Victorian, there's almost no SF or Peninsula home Mitsubishi can't cool and heat without ductwork — which matters, because most of our homes were never built for forced air.

M-Series ductless mini-splits
Single-zone wall, floor, or ceiling-mount units. Ideal for one-room additions, converted garages, and top-floor ADUs where extending the main HVAC is impractical.

MXZ multi-zone systems (2–8 indoor units per condenser)
The workhorse for whole-home retrofits in Victorians, Edwardians, and other ductless SF housing stock. One outdoor condenser, up to eight indoor heads each with its own thermostat.

H2i Hyper-Heating (cold-climate) heat pumps
Rated to deliver 100% heating capacity at 5°F outdoor. Overkill for SF winters, but the safety margin is why Peninsula homes above 500 ft (Woodside, Portola Valley) rely on them.

Intelli-HEAT dual-fuel add-on kit
Bolts on to an existing gas furnace so a heat pump handles the mild-weather load and the furnace only fires on the coldest nights. Cheapest path to decarbonization for a home with a working furnace.
